Most Epic Battlefield 3 Moments

Started this as a new thread because I thought it would be good to share! Just had my best moment, it was Kharg island and I was Russki Recon with the SVD, I was on a rocky outcropping sniping in the direction of the US spawn area and a teammate was on the hillside facing me sniping down into the area in front of me, we picked off a couple each when I spotted an enemy sneaking up his flank, I start firing at him not really expecting to hit him but hoping teammate will sus whats going on and turn around, he doesn't and the enemy is now about 20 ft behind him running down the hill towards his back for the knife, suddenly boom headshot and I take him out from pretty damm far away and teammate turns around, realises and thanks me in chat.

Caspian border, engineer with the scar h, on team death match. The game was going great for my team I had 15-3 ratio...other team all spawn on one guy, he is sniping so I leave him be and take out people spawning on him...32-3 at the end of the round. Very pleased! Not done as well since. Lol

i got a triple kill with the rpg. 3 guys were camped out behind some crates , they flew like raggy dolls.

Almost got my kd up to 1.00 now. Had lots of be rounds on squad deathmatch, but bringing it back up. Happy days! Lol

all about bf2 when you beach an aircraft carrier

 

Or you get in a helicopter then F2 to another seat as you dont want the guilt of knowing your crap flying killed your squad and all those on-board, wait for a squad member to spawn on you and take control then jump out before he crashs you into the nearest building with his equally poor flying skills

The fun was strapping C4 to the quadbike and then driving it full pelt into a tank and bailing just before!

The ol' trojan horse C4 trick is still alive and well. Sneak into a base, plant C4 on a nearby respawning tank and wait in a bush for someone to jump in.

My most epic moment was getting a head shot on zerohour hahahah

It was on that map with the massive jump down and the tunnel. We were playing rush and I was on the defending team. Zerohour was sniping from the top platform of this big jump and he killed me 3 times so I was on a mission to get him. It took many shots and many more deaths but I got a head shot on him in the end ! 495m and my longest shot to date:)

Guess I wasn't much of a team player that round of rush..

 

Other than that I enjoy sniping helicopter pilots as they fly.

I play 100% recon:)

I have 905m max range and everyone gets lucky once /looks for my knife to sharpen

My max range is only like 50m or so! lol. Mind you I am almost solely playing engineering...Plus I am on xbox not on PC.

 

I have 15 ribbons to go...hardest for me to get is the aircraft...no matter what I do, I can't get any kills in the aircraft

I actually use a wired xbox controller for aircraft and I have it completed now

I just cant seem to catch a break...I do strafing runs over objectives on conquest and stuff, and shoot at other aircraft...just cant seem to get far

my epic moment was on rush playing on operation firestorm playin rush

we were defending and a load of snipers climbed up onto the crane on the right hand side left for attackers.

they kept killing me and i could not work out where from.

when i worked it out i climbed upto the top of the crane and found 6 snipers,

my knife had fun that game

The melee kills are more satisfying in BF3, it is a bit annoying how it doesn't always work and they turn around and shoot you in the face whilst you are slicing around trying to get them.

I like the melee much better than BC2, but its just as unreliable in some parts...I snuck up right behind someone, pressed the button, but it missed so had to do it again.

i know yes, i get annoyed sometimes with the same issue.

 

not sure how bad it is on PC or PS3 but i is horrible on xbox. when it does work tho it is extremly satisfying

Just as bad for PC!

 

Number of times the animation doesn't hit and you swipe with a knife that seemingly does nothing and results in you getting shot.

the worst i have done is when you see the knife hit them and you hear it but the turn round and pop some lead in my A*S

Right, once you have unlocked heat seaking missiles, you are pretty much dominant in the air...just takes a while to get the jet there! Choppers aren't so bad as I have done that already, but the jet is a nightmare!
