Sure, you might get Microsoft on board (but I doubt it), but all it would take would be someone sticking a firewall rule in place to block that traffic and its dead. Or, someone using Linux. Say it came into effect and your OS wanted to do it and you blocked the traffic, are you going to be prosecuted for protecting your own data? if it works on a certain port, how many new exploits would be aimed at that port knowing that it HAS to be open, no ifs ands or buts.

You might as well scrap the DPA. yep, and of course the hacking groups will be absolutely baffled by the security the government impose, as they have been baffled by all other security systems, so our information is totally safe
