Thinking of buying an Xbox but there seems to be so many. I thought they were half the price of a PS3. Anyone give me a hand? I want the cheapest possible package, with WiFi and HDMI.

 

I have a PS3, but thinking of getting an Xbox for MW3 as all my mates will be playing it on it.

 

I've looked at the xbox elite £225 and the xbox premium £120. (Whats the diff???)

 

Some advice would be appreciated!

Get the premium one at £120, the elite hardly has any differences, the main ones are inbuilt wifi, bigger hard drive and its black! Get the premium it;ll do everything you want for MW3 and all now have HDMI.

The cheapest does not include a hard drive, instead it has 4GB of Flash. I would recommend getting the Premium as well, and an extended warranty.

No it will not have wifi, you will need the wifi adapter which is about £50 i think??, it will need to be cabled.

Don't think the older 'fat' type models have Wifi built in, there's an ethernet port or a neat wifi add-on.

hell of a lot quieter and wifi built in (says someone who cables it anyway) i believe its also possible to shove your own hdd in these fairly easily as its just a 2.5" sata drive in the back

You'll need a mount and it formatted in the right way but yes it is perfectly possible to put your own HDD in (I am running a 1TB after my 2TB fried...luckily I made back ups). Slim is nicer
