Hi Guys

I am trying to get a list of all the software we have deployed in Group Policy so we have a list to work on for Windows 7.

Does anyone know a way to export a list of Group Policy Items to say a text file?

Thanks

Yes thanks that is there. I am just after a list of every policy under group policy objects. We do not need the settings for each one just simply a list in text format or every policy name if that makes sense?

Does all the software reside on the same network share? ie \\server\installs or something similar. You can find out by looking at the location on a software package.

As there are lots of GPOs with lots of software this may be the easiest way to find everything.

Of course, if your software is all over the place this can be difficult. It was a problem here until I managed to centralise everything and it may be worth doing if you are going over to win 7/2008R2 anyway
