App is listed as installed on iPad in Lightspeed MDM
denon101 replied to denon101's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
I have, I even revoked the licence and then installed the new version... Still no joy! -
But it is not.... We are currently trialing the iPads and Lightspeed. I have set up a VPP account and we are pushing out free apps. I had the seesaw app installed and they updated it. I removed the old app and set the new updated version to install. The old version was removed but it is still listed as installed in Lightspeed. As this is the case the new version will not install. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

How on earth do you do this??? I have tried the normal way of GPO's but they do not work and are not aimed at Windows 10 as far as I can see. I have downloaded the AMX/ADML's for Windows 10 and added them to the policy definitions store. This has me stumped!

That's quite cool, however I think this is very cool too...... Just imagine the fun you could have with prank phone calls!! -
Have you got a copy of the ADMX/ADMLs? trying to download them and cant get it to work. Should be able to find them on the machine but can't either.... Not having such a good day!

Thanks, That looks like it has done the trick. It's amazing how something so simple can cause such a headache!!! Thankfully that's one ticket I can now close down.

I have an issue with a new HP CP4025dn printer. I know the issue is not with the printer it's self but somewhere in software. We are running a server 2008 print server and windows 7 clients. Both clients and server are 32bit. I added the printer and configured everything correctly. I then went about adding the printer to GPP to be mapped. Now here is where the issue begins, sometimes when you logon you get the printer mapped correctly now problem at all (even taking in to consideration how slow HP printers map) Other times the logon just hangs and never completes. I then tried installing the driver manually and again sometimes the driver downloads and the process finishes automatically. Other times the driver download just hangs and you need to close the dialogue box. When trying to add the printer again you get an error. The only way to restart the process is to log off and back on again. Once you have done this and try to add the printer it completes the process in seconds ( it's almost like it is downloading the driver but not installing and completing) Once the driver has been added on the the machines the printer then seems to map ok. I am really scratching my head with this one and at the moment I can't see a way to map the printer without first visiting each machine. Something that I really don't want to do!!! Anyone have any ideas???

Good, just wanted to check with someone else.

Came in this morning to find that this update has been expired in SCCM. But there has been no update to supersede it. Is this the case for everyone else??
-
Yes they do indeed, we have 123d design and Autodesk Inventor installed. Both for free, well 123d Design is a free download but Inventor was not. Was pretty straight forward once you manage to get the licences generated from the Autodesk website.

It's been a week or two now! I have been so busy with other things that I have only had the chance to look at it this morning. Tried the suggestions so far and no joy. I guess I am going to have to hit the logs and see what I can find. Only problem is I am not sure what I'm looking for!

I have SCCM installed and working, well mostly!! I have a number of windows updates deployed in different deployments. Almost all of the the machines on site have installed them and report back fine. However I have about 7 that the console report as status unknown on the deployment status. I have manually checked the machines and they have the same updates installed as the machines that are reporting back fine. I am not sure where to start looking.... anyone have any ideas? Thanks

That's odd.... I have the same software working perfectly here on our 32bit Win 7 Pro machines no problem at all!
-
That's what I did here. When I also added my SAN. Worked perfectly.

Yes I have, but I am using wamp. So I have placed it in folder and included the location in the config file. If I don't have it in the location I have the file in now. I get even more errors.

I have it downloaded and installed. Got it working to the part where I need to verify a password. Tried the one suggested and nothing happens? Any ideas?
-
Done that.... I have checked against all updates expired and superseded. Still nothing, it's like it is ignoring that update....
-
As above I have been going through my install comparing to our old WSUS setup before uninstalling and have noticed that the root certs updates are not there in the repository on the SCCM server. I have all of the classification selected within SCCM and still nothing..... any ideas??

I have tried rolling out SCEP to a different set of machines and they are now having the same problem (DELL Optiplex 755's). So I guess we can rule out anything machine specific. I am thinking it's has to be something to do with the install of SCCM client and SCEP. One thing I have noticed, it does not seem to effect admin users. Just normal users... Got me puzzled, not the end of the world to open IE then Chrome. But you shouldn't have to. Anyone any ideas?
-
I have downloaded the latest versions from the dell website and installed them just to be sure. So that rules that out. Will try the url suggestion and report back. Thanks
-
Yes. Currently Running 35.0.1916.153 m I have to say that it does seem to be affecting one type of machine a dell optiplex 760.

I have a weird problem, we have recently started moving over from Sophos AV to SCCM and System Centre Endpoint Protection. The problem is that every once in a while google chrome gets stuck at connecting. Eventually it times out, try refreshing the page and still nothing. However start up internet explorer and it loads up fine. Close internet explorer and then re try chrome and everything works as it should. We have made no other changes other than changing from Sophos to SCEP. I have tried rebuilding the machines in question and created a fresh image and still the problem exists.... Got me a bit stumped actually! Anyone have any ideas? Thanks Anthony

I am deploying some windows 7 updates to a computer collection. There are no special requirements at all. It's deployment status is just stuck on "in progress". The weird part is that this deployment is deployed to other computer collections completely fine.
