Did anybody watch the first two episodes last night? I thought it was 'ok' in the same way that Falling Skies was, but was too sickly sweet in places, still, with the myseries getting set in place it'll have me watching each week :)

Also the news that the new season of Fringe begins on Wednesday has made me very happy indeed, as it's possibly the only program I've missed since the end of its last series.

Oh, and did anyone think that the camp in Terra Nova was just a bit too clean and well provided for? I've done expeditionary tours in the army (where you go to another country and set up from scratch) and have never seen that level of comfort even when we have huge cargo ships and planes delivering our kit.

It is fiction though - no, not the dinosaurs - the quality of the camp!!

It's only ever the guys in the FoBs and CoBs that get that level of comfort, Bastion is like butlins these days!!! If you're in a PB/CP you're out on a limb.... :tape:

Your tours were early to mid 90s yes? I did a stint in Oman training with some of the cavalry, some of the camps out there are pretty well catered for. However I agree this was a bit much, I would believe it if it were much more rustic, and what would be awesome would be the butterfly effect where whatever they do affects the future! :D
