The repeat of the first series of Spiral finished on Saturday. I didn't see it first time round and really hope they do a Spiral 4, it's really improving my French.

It was enjoyable, but... seriously - Comic Sans MS as their chosen font? I nearly turned my TV off in protest!

 

I may need to calm down and get some perspective on this, but still, this is the last program I expected to be using the laziest of all fonts. Quite ironic I suppose that a program on communication went with one of the most abused and inappropriate fonts for written communication...

I studied BSL for a bit and one session was done in the dark with white gloves and UV Light ... I also studied touch signing, for those hard of hearing and visually impaired, so yes, you can sign in the dark.

 

As for Comic Sans ... anyone would think that Mr Fry likes to poke fun at pedants and invoke arguments through irony.

@Jawloms Deaf-blind people use a version of sign language where they are touching the hand of the person they are talking too. I'm sure this is what deaf people who sign do too.

I watched it last night and loved it. Especially the signing part.
