I think DaveP needs to find a new PC supplier... :)

 

ps I love the look of Apple hardware but am too much of a tightwad to buy it...

 

pps In 1995 I worked at a computer roadshow and took along my work PC (PIII) running a pre-release version of Window 95 just to show off a bit. A woman came up to me and said "Oh Windows 95 or as we Apple users call it Apple 84".

 

So I said "Yes you're right and if Apple had shared the OS with other hardware manufacturers then we would all be using it by now..." ...and I still believe that today!

Shouldn't WALL-E be the Mac? He does make the same noise when booting up. :)

 

I hadn't looked at it/considered it any deeper than this:

 

The creator of the wallpaper is suggesting:

 

A PC is old, tired and out of date.

 

A Mac is shiny, new and ultra-modern.

Exactly, just another Mac troll proud of their artful use of cut and paste which they could only do on a Mac 'cause Macs are for artists'... spew.

So true I had to thank you, I always get the 'We need macs in music as there made for it.' They use GarageBand, thats like saying I need XP as it has Solataire on. Drives me mental!:mad:

or the mac is all style over substance as long as it looks nice dosent matter what it does

But Wall-e functioned fine for over 800 years (as PCs do go on forever and a day) but yet Eve was locked down remotely and has no end user replaceable parts thus Wall-E is the much better robot :p

Eve has a laser canon arm and didn't once die and I love the blue LED's / lights etc lol.

 

Wall-e got squished and nearly died completely as Eve had to find replacement parts etc.

Indeed, just like a Mac, they have very little substance as well :D

 

It has all the substance I need :D

Notice how easy they were to obtain and included end user self fit and setup unlike Crapple ones.... and he survived being squished and attacked, Eve was going to be rebooted and would have exploded etc

I'm working on PC's that over heat and have to keep replacing all sorts and are sluggish - least Eve went out with a bang :D
