Not sure how true this is, but you may be in luck... I have just spoken to Dixons and they have told me they have processed NO orders online tonight. All orders were rejected and the user was kicked back to the home screen where they were then shown as out of stock. PR disaster! They will only be available in stores in person from 9am tomorrow according to their customer services. (Source)

I reckon no orders are going through an it will all happen tomorrow in stores. Only way to avoid the disappointment of having an order cancelled at the last minute due to stock.

SYNACK Posted August 22, 2011 Author Posted August 22, 2011 Well, I've dropped my $207 NZD for a 32GB one but I'll only find out if I actually get one some time in the next three days as Nole Leamings had none in stock and it was a race to see who got stock from their warehouse. Here's hopeing, I just wish I had not got stuck in line behind some dopey blond who needed to consider if she wanted the the 16 or 32GB one for some time

One of the clever chaps at PC World even came up with a clever idea of putting up a poster in the window saying they were out of stock, after I was the 5th person to ask in about 30 seconds. :-)

If I had just stayed at home and got one online from Acquire I probably would have got one

Ebay may be flooded, but how many of us are only after one because of the ridiculously low price? I have no intent on scouring ebay for one and paying any more. I may have wasted an hour of flexi time this morning trying to get one, but before the price drop I had no interest in this tablet.
