Ben-BSH Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Hope everyone is enjoying their lunch Having a little issue with Digital Blue software, V3 (lots of people get along with it, i personally hate it!) error message on a Win7 x86 machine, relating to codecs. its Error 32, and is "directshow error class not registered" Does anyone have any ideas or has seen this before? i had already tried the klite pack, and found this Directshow Error 32 for the Digital Movie Creator 3.0 but that has also not resolved it. Cheers in advance!
sted Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 as far as im aware it will install but not run on windows 7
synaesthesia Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 I tried all sorts and couldn't get it to run on 7. It barely ran on XP.
irsprint84 Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Burnnnnnnnnn it! joking yeah its generally a pain on any version of Windows!
jhithersay Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 I too am having the same problem, but i click ok and the program finishes loading and everything seems to be working ok
LordNewton Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Anyone one find a fix for this or aulternative software?
SYNACK Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Not much help but our solution to everything Digital Blue has been - after many wasted days - bin it and buy something decent instead.
localzuk Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 (edited) No way to get this working natively as far as I know - only way would be to run it in an XP virtual machine of some form. I'd look at alternatives. Give this a try - Educators A license for education for about 35 copies (a suite full), would be about £550. (They give a 35% discount). Combine it with a simple webcam and you're cooking with gas. Edited October 25, 2012 by localzuk
witch Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 (edited) The official line is that it won't work on Windows 7. Which leaves me with 10 of the beasts....praps we can make some "art" out of them. Edited October 25, 2012 by witch
SYNACK Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 The official line is that it won't work on Windows 7. Which leaves me with 10 of the beasts....praps we can make some "art" out of them. Grind them to dust and use them in the preparation of curses, you will not find a stronger source of evil.
twin--turbo Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 We gave up on that years ago. And who in their right mind sells Digital "Blue Movie" Creator! Rob
