Hope everyone is enjoying their lunch ;)

Having a little issue with Digital Blue software, V3 (lots of people get along with it, i personally hate it!)

error message on a Win7 x86 machine, relating to codecs. its Error 32, and is "directshow error class not registered"

Does anyone have any ideas or has seen this before?

i had already tried the klite pack, and found this Directshow Error 32 for the Digital Movie Creator 3.0

but that has also not resolved it.

Cheers in advance!

No way to get this working natively as far as I know - only way would be to run it in an XP virtual machine of some form.

I'd look at alternatives. Give this a try - Educators

A license for education for about 35 copies (a suite full), would be about £550. (They give a 35% discount).

Combine it with a simple webcam and you're cooking with gas.

The official line is that it won't work on Windows 7.

Which leaves me with 10 of the beasts....praps we can make some "art" out of them.

Grind them to dust and use them in the preparation of curses, you will not find a stronger source of evil.
