Halfmad Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Just joined up, been lookin for a site like this for god knows how long and was beginning to think I was the only network manager around! I run a high school and 6 feeder primary school networks, computers, the lot on my own. We do have a central IT department but I find it more effective to just do most of it myself as they're staffed by monkeys. I worked in that department for 6 years before moving to the school just over a year ago - best thing I ever did! We use mostly Windows Server 2003, XP clients (although some 95/98 still around) and in the primaries mostly Apple OS X with the odd OS9 machine hiding in corners. I'm trialing Netsupport school as we needed something similar to apples network assistant on the PCs and nothing else seemed to have the range of features that I and the teachers wanted. So hello!
webman Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Hello Halfmad! Running all of that on your own though I wouldn't blame you if you were more than half-mad

Welcome Halfmad. Today could be your lucky day. NetSupport Ltd may just be offering EduGeek members a discount in the very near future
