featured_spectre Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 I cant do it, it wont add to the subscription I have!
timbo343 Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 hmmm interestin though is it for new members only?
Dom_ Posted June 22, 2011 Author Posted June 22, 2011 I had an active 3 month gold subscription, it just keeps adding a month to that. Neph - a few people have reported problems, but refreshing and trying a few times makes it work (up to 2014)
JJonas Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 When Microsoft find out are you likely to get banned for doing this? I thought they took a dim view of this sort of thing.
Dom_ Posted June 22, 2011 Author Posted June 22, 2011 I wouldn't have thought so - as far as I'm concerned it's working as intended - and the terms don't state you can only use it once: To qualify for this offer, you must purchase a one month LIVE Gold subscription from one of the links in this email between 9am GMT, 21 June 2011 and 11.59pm GMT, 27 June 2011. After the promotional 1 month, your membership will automatically renew to a one month membership at the then-current price unless you change your renewal or cancel before your membership ends. You may choose to change your renewal options by contacting the customer service team via Microsoft Xbox Support | Help for Xbox 360, Xbox LIVE, and Kinect. Offer not valid for membership cards bought via retail. Pricing details can be viewed in the Account Management area of your gamer profile. This offer expires 11.59pm GMT, 27 June 2011. Not combinable with other Microsoft offers.
CAM Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Not combinable with other Microsoft offers Which technically covers itself?
steveg Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Which technically covers itself? Technically its not another offer? It's just the same offer being used a lot of times! Steve
stevenlong1985 Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 BALLS!!! I got this message! "Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened. It appears you've found a glitch in the system."
Dom_ Posted June 22, 2011 Author Posted June 22, 2011 I got that message a few times, and one saying payment couldn't be processed at this time, but just kept trying :-)

stickyfoot Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Darn. It keeps telling me the offer has finished.
AyatollahPies Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Boldorcks! Steve Balmer must be an avid Edugeek reader. We've been busted!
