Don't bother me and not worth the effort of neg repping , like I keep saying you either swear by them or at them, either way I aint fussed lol

 

Or, you do both. Usually within minutes of each other. :) (On a related note, my blue and white G3 arrived today! :D :D)

I'm off to our storage box at the weekend to pick up my iMac DVSE Graphite again ... it needs the optical drive replacing and I should have a combo-drive tomorrow. It means I can go back to some classic OS9 gaming! Baldur's Gate here I come!

Its OS9 gaming I've got this for. Harry The Handsome Executive, Maelstrom, Mars Rising, Munchies, Glider, Escape Velocity. All brilliant games.

I am slowly building up a collection of older games and older consoles ... really enjoying going back and playing FF7 and FF8 on an original playstation, and got an old 1GHz Athlon with W98 for some old stuff too. Theme Hospital still makes me laugh.

Love Theme Hospital. I keep coming back to the undeniable conclusion that older games were better as the developers focussed on gameplay rather than fancy graphics.

+1 to that - I have a slowly growing collection of NES and Mega Drive games (as well as consoles of course!)

I've been going through FF and FF2 on my iPhone and loving that too ... and Myst still rocks ... but there is something about playing old games on old kit.

@ZeroHour I understand the tech reason both 'thanks' and 'rep' can't have the same value now then, but with that in mind why do the two separate entities exist when one isn't as significant? Wouldn't it be better to just have one? Possibly remove the 'Thank Post' link and just have the star - or remove both and have a 'Thank/Rep' link which adds only rep when clicked?

Talking about N64 - who remember Hybrid Heaven? I really wanted to like that game more than I actually did...

 

No cant say I do - although I do remember the xbox 360 coming out and playing perfect dark on teh 360 ( at least I think it was perfect dark ) ??

Awww, Perfect Dark - Meant to be a Goldeneye "squeal" and if I rmemeber, it got slated a fare bit, but I LOVED it! Deathmatch with bots was awesome, and the weapon choice was huge! I got gold on all the challenges with the weapons! :)

Yea, they did a follow up on the 360 - I played the demo and thought it was granny pants (granny pants = worse then pants, not as bad as "total s***e" ;) )

Perfect Dark on the 360 was better then the N64 for me I think ref the audio playing on a surround sound audio amp / system. Although I borrowed perfect dark on the N64 and didnt have surround sound

thats the worst mario kart even double dash is better but the snes version is still the best one (one good thing about the wii i have them all either on disk (mario kart wii and double dash) or installed from arcade (snes and 64)
