Just checked our DHCP.

In "Manage Authorized Servers":

I have four entries:

One server is in twice, with it's correct IP (10.7 range) and again with a very old IP (10.10 range).

Is it safe to remove the old entry?

Hmmmm I clicked Unathorize and after a while of egg-timerness I get control again and it's not removed it.

I have:

fp2.domain 10.7.43.152

fp2.domain 10.10.3.2

fp2.domain 10.7.43.153

fp6.domain 10.7.43.156

Might I have to remove both fp2 entries?

Is there a risk if I do that of breaking anything?

Thanks.

Probably best if you make the change when the network's quiet.

I did have it happen once that no matter what I tried the entry wouldn't/couldn't be deleted, so disabling DHCP Server did the trick. Similar to your situation, it was an old server no longer used, however it was the same IP range, not a totally different range.
