this is true :)

SMS/SCCM installs - run once for every user who logs on - otherwise it complains and doesn't work.

msiexec.exe /i RHSetup.msi /quiet

In theory, yes, but only because it can't be installed for all users, as jc1875 has found:

The issue here is that although the shortcut is correctly created in the All Users start menu when ALLUSERS=1 is specified, the actual program files are always installed to AppData. So you have to install it separately for every user. Apparently whoever wrote the installer didn't really think their design through.

Le sigh.

I've tried modifying the install location with a transform, but it breaks the program. I've posted on their forums requesting a version that doesn't install to AppData; if you'd like to see this, please add a note so they know it's not just me whinging.

Sorry for the slight necro... but we've just rolled out Office 2010 here (and personally, I'm loving it) and we want to run with Ribbon Hero for KS3. Problem is, we want to use Ribbon Hero 1, rather than 2, as it lets you just open (say) Word and see what challenges there are, rather than opening the game and skipping about between applications.

For the life of me, I can't track down a multi user MSI for RH1, only 2, so if anyone out there has found the magic sauce to make it work, please let me know - I'd rather not have to run a logon script for every user to keep installing it!

(Alternatively, any way of working with RH2 that's decided by the application you're using rather than what the game is telling you to use, that'd work too)
