AXE Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Next term, I have to start cycling to Malmesbury. It's about 12 miles from where I live and the closest place from which I can get a bus to Chippenham, so I really need somewhere to securely store my bicycle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (I really don't want to have to start living in a tent again. I will not quit my job just because I can't afford to get to work.)
MicrodigitUK Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Try asking @flexyjerkov in a PM he might know someone... You got a new job? Hows that little coding job 64 bit version looking?
speckytecky Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Give the boys at Sherston Support a call - I expect one of these top rate chaps will know someone who might be able to help.
laserblazer Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Are you working in education? Why not ask in a school. There's a private school on Burton Hill, which is the Chippenham Road.
tech_guy Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 How about contacting the Tourist Info Centre they might be able to help you? K.C.Leblanc Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Are you working in education? Why not ask in a school. There's a private school on Burton Hill, which is the Chippenham Road. There's a secondary school there as well. However it's not that near the town centre.
flexyjerkov Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 the town centre is about a 10 min walk. I would like to help but got nowhere I can think to store a bike...
BenABF Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Do you live near a railway station? Most trains you can take your bike on as opposed to busses which you cannot. Might be worth giving that a consideration.
ptrmsn Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Give the boys at Sherston Support a call - I expect one of these top rate chaps will know someone who might be able to help. I do live in Malmesbury. If you're comfortable with leaving your bicycle outside, a lot of people use the railings in Birdcage Walk which is just next to Abbey News. I believe that there are also a couple of points intended for bicycles outside of the Three Cups in the Triangle. There may be some bicycle racks near to the town hall and library (which the bus stops are practically next to). I’ll check it out over the weekend for you and let you know! 1
Asomodai Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Went to a party in Malmesbury once, was the worst party full of underage drunken kids.
