Set the default home page in ad in 2003 but new to 2008 and cant for the life of me remember or find where it is set in 2008 (seems alot more options). Anyone tell me a dummys path to where it is set in a policy?

Err is it not User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates >Windows Components > Internet Explorer ? or is that 2003 version. Play testing an 08 server atm, but we run 03, So get confused sometimes.

There is another, cunningly hidden place for this - User Configuration / Policies / Administrative Templates / Windows Components / Internet Explorer / Disable changing home page settings *Enter URL here*

When this is enabled, it overrides whatever other settings you try to force through GP. Drove me crazy finding it!

Handy hint I play with: grab the MS spreadsheets with the GP layouts, then you can use the find function for the common word(s), I've used that when i though there was something but couldn't quiet remember where.
