browolf Posted 34 minutes ago Posted 34 minutes ago Anyone using onshape? Is it good enough? I'm looking for reasons to force Tech to move away from Solidworks which is a massive pita to update and we can't afford vaguely recommended computers. Currently they are running v2023 on 3rd gen i7s in compatibility mode because their GPUs are obsolete! I saw you can get single singon with edu enterprise but how much does that cost?
3s-gtech Posted 8 minutes ago Posted 8 minutes ago OnShape won't render on our 2nd gen i5s - I don't think the old Intel 3000s would do it, so your 4000s may not either. I had to replace the PCs (now Ryzen 8th gen) to use it. Still better than dealing with Solidworks though. We don't pay for SSO.
