I've been waiting for this for a while (one of my fave bands) and it's wicked! If you've not heard of the Dropkick Murphys, I think the best way to describe their kind of music is a fusion of punk/rock/Irish folk music with a hint of celtic roots with influences like The Pogues, The Clash, Bruce Springstine, the Dubliners etc. If you've seen the film The Departed, they did the intro track "Shipping out to Boston". Check out their new track, guitars & bagpipes = awesome. :)

I gave them a shot a while back, bought a/the DVD.

Not really my sort of thing. It is exactly as Rawns describes it though and worth a look.

Give me Snuff (cockney semi-ska punk) anyday. :)

Hehehe! No problem! It's an awesome collection! Plus perfect timing for the fast approach for St Paddy's day! Be sure to listen to it with a pint of the black stuff in ya' hand! :)

Dropkick Murphys are one of those bands I put on every now and then and listen to for a few weeks, then don't listen to them again for 6 months or so. Nice to see some new material from them :)
