How do I look at the GPO's set up on the server? Dumb question of the week...

Do you mean looking at the GPOs for your domain by going to Administrative Tools -> Group policy management?

 

Or do you mean looking at the GPOs being applied to the server by running 'gpresult'?

Do you mean distributed from that server, or which apply to it?

 

if from: open administrative tools -> Group Policy Management; you'll see you AD structure with an added OU of "Group Policy Objects"

 

if to: open a cmd prompt and type "gpresult /R"

Not sure what i mean, as it happens. Will try the methods given above and see which result is the one i want!

look for 'GPMC sample scripts', downloadable from microsoft - one of them will do what you need ...

Type rsop.msc at a command prompt to get the resultant set of policy as well
