WebbA Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Hello, We are currently running a centos linux box with squid/dansguardian and NTLM auth for web filtering. (SARG for user reports) Its worked well for 3 yr but with us wanting to demote our last 2003 DC, we need either an updated or alternative solution as it dont work with 2008! (mainly kerberos issues, in the fact you need it rather than relying on legacy ntlm like 2003) Has anyone got the latest versions of squid/kerberos working with authentication with 2008 yet? Currently working through this guide here active directory - Getting Squid to authenticate with kerberos and Windows 2008/2003/7/XP - Server Fault but just wondered if anyone has found anything else in the mean time? It needs to be free and have transparent user tracking. Just need to get squid talking to 2008 first, ill worry about DG/Sarg later on
