I bought a heart shaped cake tin, made a cake, iced it, put hearts on top and gave it to her. She was impressed. normally its the card/chocs route, not really sure what to do this year, as have no card, cake, present so might be a rush to Tesco later.

After hour and half we still haven't been seated so we left and got a takeaway and where back by half nine, she was not impressed. 1

Rather than paying a fortune to go out, I cooked a nice meal, with candles wine etc etc. I then gave her the present I'd got her.....a "wii fit" (which she'd said she'd wanted as she thought it would help her lose a bit of weight)......"Are you saying I'm fat" :-o There's no winning with some people :-) We are still together though, and this year I've gone for the build a bear option, it has to go down better than the Wii Fit! 1
