Can anyone recommend a board suitable for use in nursery? It needs to be low so the wee ones can reach the board (they also have a limited reach so it needs to be fairly small). Also the projector needs to be out of the way so it doesn't create a hazard to adults. Perhaps we need some sort of interactive TV screen rather than a board and projector?

Smart do a tiny version of their smartboards, but I've found recently that touch screen PC's are the way to go in reception classes. They rarely used smartboards anyway, so a couple of my schools have bought a few acer Z5610 23" touch screen AIO's. They're great, and have withstood the grubby mits so far!

We have a 72" Smartboard in our nursery, its about 10" off the floor, Projector is ceiling mounted high enough so that staff dont bang their head. Gets used mostly for wet play/dvd times but is good with paint packages etc.

Missus has a smartboard in her nursery with the projector attached to it - one of those it all moves up and down together, I suspect if I was teaching the class I'd be smacking my head on the projector and boom arm all the time though......
