No noticable improvements or features though as i understand it, it was only meant to be mainly a fixes and patches service pack rather than including any big features. Obviously if your not willing to try it, the official product is out via microsoft later this month

pritchardavid Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 true but it still cleaner to have one stright from microsoft, as you will not have any old updates installed what so ever in in installed update list. I think the service pack installs some updates before installing the service pack

Running the command below will remove all of the backup files created during the installation of SP1 (similar to what "vsp1cln.exe" did with Vista). I just ran it myself and got an extra 3GB back.
