Dim recollections from the early days of this version of edugeek:

Rep points are gained by Thanks and Adding to Reputation.

Rep Power (A smaller number and your stars and green blobs) are calculated using some formula involving your Rep points, the length of time you've been an edugeek, the number of posts you've made and the amount of rep/thanks you've dished out....

It has me! I have rep'd u in quite a few posts :p

You can thank people many times, but I thought the number of times you could give rep to one person was restricted.

It stops people having love ins. Although some people are very stingy with thanks/rep, oh well. This place doesn't need to turn into a Reddit esque karma culture.

SNR??? You have lost me on that one :p

SNR = Signal to Noise Ratio. Normally used in electronics/communication fields to describe the amount of interference on a line.

In this context, your ratio of useful posts to utter nonsense!

I'm 18th - not great, but snugly between two admins so very warm and comfy :)

(s'not fair anyway as most of my cv help is done via pm so I don't get thanks or rep or anything  )
