Been backing up a laptop today and I would say the majority of it is iTunes / music. Having a spare 10 mins I have managed to work out that I have 'backed up' or 'removed' - [ it's sitting on a NAS share ] just over 2TBs worth of music.

It's nice always having something listen to in the office.......

That's some going!

I got a shock the other day when I looked and had almost 900GB of music, but the worked out I had duplicated all my tracks as backup when I was tidying the tracks (using a great little stud program mp3tag). So, half that!

We had a member of staff once who kept complaining that they had no space left on their drive in their laptop. I went along to have a look and 80% of the drive was filled up with music.....

I hope the recommendation was to press CTRL+A, the Del. :D just to see their face!

No, but they had the cheek to ask if we were going to buy a bigger hdd for them....

:-(

Oh yes - had that with a teacher who filled their drive with photos of new daughter. I told them to ask the head if he was prepared to finance that purchase...

Just imagine an Eddie Stobbart driver saying, I can't get all those fridges in the back as I have the extended family's shopping in the back for xmas.

2Tb?!? wow

I've got a large collection but still only pushing 50GB!

Edit: Oh you meant that you had removed from machines/network. I thought you were talking about your personal collection!

I don't own a MP3 or player like that - personal CD player yes. There is a MP3 player on my phone but it's rubbish - in fact there are lots of things on my phone which are a complete waste of time which I will never or never intend to use.
