St George’s School is seeking to appoint a Network Manager to take responsibility for the day to day management and maintenance of the school’s computer networks. The Network Manager will also provide technical support to staff and pupils, assist with hands-on training, and contribute to decisions on the development of ICT within the school. Experience within the education sector would be an advantage. Experience with Windows 7, Server 2008 R2 and Office 2010 is essential. For candidates with vision and creativity this post offers considerable scope to explore innovative ways of delivering cutting-edge provision for ICT.

 

 

This is a full-time 40hr/week position, salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience in the range £35-45k pa

The planned retirement date for the current NM is 31st March. We are looking to have a hand-over for at least 4 weeks between new and old NM.

 

For a successful candidate with a short(er) notice period, we will discuss details when offering the job.

Closing date on TES was given as 29/11/2010 with a number of applicants coming in yesterday afternoon/evening.

 

Interviews will be held early next week
