[mdt] MDT & Windows 7 Instal

Hi,

 

I have a windows 7 image on my system deployed via litetouch and MDT, it works fine on some pc's but on others it installs but then after the 1st proper reboot it comes up as trying to login and its relevant failure.

The account it is trying to use is domain\administrator which doesnt exist and has not been set during the install process, Can anyone spread some light on where this may be coming from so i can set things to get the install working correctly.

Try looking inside the sysprep.inf and unattend.xml files. If you don't know where they are, properties of your Task Sequence, OS info tab.

 

Within both of these is an 'Identification' section. Make sure that you haven't uncommented the default settings (contoso\administrator with password of password) or entered duff info here.

Cant find any mention of the sysprep.inf file but i tried having the set line in identification in unattend.xml and then tried it without that line being there with no joy. At no point either did it mention the account that the pc is attempting to login with.
