Busybub Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Don't suppose anybody knows a way for this to be done from Exchange or via GPO? Thanks
London_Geek Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I'd also be curious to know if this would be at all possible. We have an issue with our users not filling these in, and it really makes quick scanning of tickets within the HelpDesk almost impossible!!
pete Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Poke around with transport rules (assumes exchange 2007) and tell Exchange what to do when it encounters a blank subject (^$). Example here: How to Configure a New Transport Rule for Messages That Have a Blank Subject: Exchange 2007 Help (and test it before slinging into production - regexes are unforgiving of error) 1
Busybub Posted October 11, 2010 Author Posted October 11, 2010 Ah, still on 2003, thanks anyway Pete. User education? Haha! Cheers for the suggestion Monkey, but with this bunch I think I have more chance of convincing them to smack their heads against a wall!
