reason we're going with disposables is that there will be none of this washing nonsence - I have enough sh*te to contend with as it is without having to wash it off nappies too!

 

At least with disposables its just a case of getting them off and a quick wipe around !

There are some collection services in parts of the country as well so they wash them for you at a price of course.

because despite the amount of drivel you imagine comes out of the states, there's a lot of good stuff in there as well, and Sesame Street was/is up near the top for delivering educational content in a manner which made it easy for kids to soak it up with enthusiasm. It made a great difference to my kids early learning. Essential viewing in my eyes.

that's right, me too. sometime in the '60's before the cold light of cathode tube illuminated my mind. there was always the wireless, two way family favourites, the light programme, hilvershum. at least we've still got the shipping forcast and lily bolero.

I love Crystal Maze, a huuuuge favourite of mine, but I prefer the early episodes with Richard O'Brian as Ed Tudor Pole was a bit of a dipstick and spoilt it for me.

I agree John, Ed wasn't as good as Richard but it's still a good show ftn have started showing the maze from 1990 with Richard, and IIRC Richard did the first 4 years then Ed did the last two.
