Can't fully remove Winsuite....blank desktop snd empty start menu

Hello all,

 

I want to remove Winsuite. I have ran the uninstaller exactly as per the NDI instructions. On log on as pupil, blank desktop and start menu. Tried deleting the Winsuite folder from Program Files and deleting all traces of 'Winsuite' and 'GinaDLL' from the registry, Still no joy. There is no profile for the user who is getting the blank screen so doesn't appear to be a profile issue. Does it for other users too.

 

Winsuite no longer has a helpdesk and I wondered if someone knew the correct procedure to fully remove Winsuite as i'm sure me tryinh random things will probably make it worse!

From my understanding of other posts, winsuite like other certain applications (looks towards norton) like to get their tentacles into the computer and have a uninstaller that doesn't function properly, The easiest and best way would just be to re{install/image} the os onto the computer if possible.

Thanks for the advice but turned out it was the profile. Resolved with a new profile, seems fine now.
