Mono Laser Recommendations

Which new mono lasers should we purchase? Looking to buy 6 for use in a small ICT suite and in departmental offices. The models I have narrowed it down to are:

 

Samsung ML-2855ND: the SAMSUNG ML-2855ND mono laser workgroup printer - ML-2855ND 28ppm - Mono Network Ready - Mono Laser Printers - Print Solutions | SAMSUNG

 

Kyocera FS 1350DN: KYOCERA MITA | Products | FS-1350DN - print copy scan fax

 

HP P2055DN: HP LaserJet P2055dn Printer (CE459A) specifications - HP Small & Medium Business products

 

Any other models i may have missed?

 

Any thoughts and real world experiences would be helpful

Have you looked at Brother HL-5350dn? have had a few of these around for the past year (In IT suites & Department offices) and haven't had any problems with them (apart from a child broke a paper tray - which brother replaced under warranty). running cost are reasonable. could be worth a look

I have looked at that model but i'm not so keen on the separate drum and toner setup. Fault diagnosis is a pain working out which component is causing printout problems. Its annoying having to keep two consumable parts in stock plus their is the additional running cost of a drum to consider. We currently have lots of HP P2015's using compatible toners, with combined drum units. Its easy to fix print faults, by replacing the whole unit, we only have to keep one kind of consumable and the compatibles are really cheap.

 

It would be nice to buy some new 2015s, with warranty, i've not found any for sale though.

We use both P2055 and Brother HL-5350 and they are solid, I am a HP fan but I was surprised at the reliability of the 5350 as our GP's cannot break them so that is a first.

P2015 typically have a lower running cost than a p2055dn.

 

P2015dn are available on a lease offering with full maintenance cover and can usually be picked up for less than purchasing outright this can also be accompanied with CPC or automated toner supply pm me for more info

We've had a couple of Kyocera FS 1350DN's just recently, seem to be really good, and have cheap printing costs

Kyocera printers get my vote , been using them for 10 years + and first one is still going strong. Cheap to run and built to last so TCO makes it an easy choice i recon

Have the running costs of the hl-53xx come down compared to the hl-52xx series as these are a damn sight more expensive to run that my kyos are?
