We are looking at way to use workflows to tie in with our group calendar ( this allows booking of tennis, badminton cricket nets and 5 aside) we need to be able to book either 5 aside that uses whole sports hall or if you book cricket nets for example then you cant book 5 aside but could book other cricket nets or badminton

BT tell me this is not possibe ( I know its not in their intrest as they lose revenue) I have just moved in with new partner and her 16 year old dughter has been known to run up £100 calls to mobiles As i now pay the bill i need to restrict this I can block all out going calls but not just calls to mobiles Has anyone else found a way around this or shall i stick with plan B and just cut of her fingers so she cant dial the numbers!!!!

I have been asked as part of a bigger project to look at new and emerging technologies. I thought we were using enough of them already we use Xenserver as hypervisor Xendesktop for 1/2 our machines running on wyse xenith thin clients Xen app to sream applictaions to both xendesktop and laptops/desktops Axel Thin clients for RDP to terminal server on 2008R2 We offer SSLVPN to staff and students for a xendesktop at home We have Vle/intranet based on sharepoint Exchange email system with room booking and equipment booking. Struggling to thing of much else we would do at this time we have a 10Mb Adsl line and a 6MB ADSl line and are limited in our upgrade options at present so cloud options are not really possible yet. any ideas what SLT might thing are new and emerging technologies.

My openfiler box is not well stuck at grub> tried a few things but no luck it boot bios then says GRUB loading stage2... then goes to grub> when i run find /boot/grub/stage1 file not found any help would save me pulling rest of my hair out right now thanks

we have Moss 2007 and each department had a shared document library in there Been asked if they can each have their own links page within there I tried adding a links webpart but it is shown on all the departments I need different list per folder can anyone point me in the right direction

Since we did the latest Sims updates yesterday we can no loger profile SIMS.NET using Xenapp 6.5 it has a Microsoft.net 4 error. Tried profiling the .net installer as part of install but it fails. has anyone done this on latest SIMS

what hypervisor are you using we use xenserver and after the upgrade to version 6 have the option to assign gpu to the vm.

I have attached screen shot of the problem we have 15 minute appointments that used to line up accross the day one under the other now for some reason they look like this We set up a whole term using reoccurance and it was fine till end of september then it changed to this anyone seen this and have an idea why. none of appointments overlap they are 9.00- 9.15, 9.15-9.30 and 9.30-9.45

having tried every solution i can find on internet i am stuck with this one Us english still appears as default language even though its not set in regional settings anywere, or in office 2007 langauge settings. Teachers going mad as trying to wright reports and it defaults to US english. Is there a registry key to remove it altogether , how hard can they make this is my question any help would be gratefully recieved

ok I am missing the Configure WDS PXE Filter option in my start menu i have the Remove WDS PXE Filter option. but need to edit the PXEFilter.vbs. I am setting up SCCM 2007 to deploy OS on server 2003 R2 SP2 64 bit Thanks

Looking at giving some staff external hard disks to move lage amounts of data between home and school. Has anyone found i good way of doing this . Want to be able to sync the school drive h: to the external hard disk then when they come back to replace any updated files on school drive h: dont want it sync their home pc stuff.

We got a great vodophone deal with 6 blackberry 9300 and shared minutes for our management team they love them especialy the group sms bit and battery life is very good. I still prefer my Android and my assistant has his Iphone but for management the blackberry are a good solution

currently having same issues, we now archive all photos to dvd at the end of acedemic years keeping just last 12 months on sharepoint. Tried asking staff about this but they always say oh yes need all of them. So to start i move the folder contents to an old array with a txt file saying if these pictures have been relocated please call IT if you need them. Three years no one ever rang . so now burn dvd and file it away after a year on old San . My next thought is quoter the storage for pics so they have to manage it themselves instead of uploading everthing from camera including out of focus and pics that are no use.

Can BookIt be used on MS-Sql or do i have to use mysql ?

ok i fixed it for anyone else that gets the problem open Acrobat go edit preferences select general then un tick the protected mode option bottom left and away you go

having problem on a set of laptops cant get a link from website to open if i save and open its fine tried uninstall and reinstall tried untick open in browser in adobe still nothing any ideas?

as i said it will sit on bios screen all day temp never gets above 20 degrees tried power supply and still same result also tried different ide header and new disk

so got 2 machines that boot into BIOS no problem and can sit there for hours. Boot to HD and after 5 secs or so power off disconect HD boot to live cd turns off after 5 secs. any ideas , have changed , CPU, Memory and graphics card

ok so i upgrade the exchange 2007 to sp2 on the Ca, Ht servers then on the passive node no problem now when i try to fail the cluster over to upgrade the active node i get error id 5018 (0000139a) any ideas ?
