I went to see Inception yesterday and I have just about recovered... man what a great film. Nolan is a truly great director and treats his audience like adults.

 

Total Film only gave it 4 stars, IMHO its a defo 5 star film but don't drink too much liquid when you go in... its a 150 minute film and with the adverts (A-team as per usual) its getting close to 3 hours sat down.

 

Superb ending too.

 

Some of the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes are funny.. especially if someone dares to say they didn't like it (the telegraph didn't get it... probably because it wasn't a swedish noir)

 

Highly recommended.. might even go again to see it at iMax

I saw it at the cinema the other weekend (certainly a rarity for me as I normally object to the £8 'almost the price of a dvd' fee) and yeah, it's not bad at all, I'd give it 4 stars personally (great film but zero filth) and as simcfc73 has already said refrain from the drinks as you will have a numb bum by the time it finishes.

 

It is quite clever and definitely does make you think a lot, I particularly liked the bits where they messed with the physics of the dreamworld. Definitely a contemplation for buying when it's out on Blu-ray.

Saw it last night...loved it.

 

Nolan's films have been growing in scale and complexity with each one, inception just shows what he's capable of when he's let loose....

Saw it last night and loved it. Only the second film this year (after Kick "Bottom") that I want to buy on DVD. Yes, that's right, I am trying to avoid the whole BluRay upgrade cycle.

 

Mme LeMarchand thought it was merely "OK" and got a bit bored(!), but it's one of the very few films I've voted as 10 on IMDb.

Just saw this today as it has only recently come out in theaters at the end of the earth, great film which managed to hold my attention the whole way through and was not completely transparent from the first five minutes.

A bunch of us went to see it last week and here is a pro tip I will be using again:

 

A back pack with a few beers... (Not too many though as you can't afford a toilet break in this film!)

The prices were absolutely insane at the Vue I went to in Oxford. It's a shame going to the cinema is so expensive these days (even if you smuggle in your own drinks and food).

Haha! Well I did have a large coke... but was nearly at breaking point holding it in as I knew if id rush to the toilet id miss something!

On the food smuggling. I take my grandchildren on a Saturday morning sometimes less than a quid entry each. We take sweets and drinks, in coats during the winter, in a bag with wet wipes etc on top in the summer.

On the topic of snacks I enjoyed my viewing of it over a JD's and coke from the cinima bar $6.80NZD in a 'fancy' clear plastic cup . The movie itself was $10NZD as it was tuesday.
