Holland or Spain?

I'm surprised no-one has posted this up yet. So who are you rooting for this weekend? Holland or Spain? I'm tending to side towards Holland becasue they are 'crazy guys', however I repect Spain a hell of a lot too. Which ever way, it's going to be a great match. Edited July 8, 2010 by Dos_Box

As much as I would love to have seen a holland germany final, i think spain will be outclassed in midfield as holland have been devasting, especially sneijder. I hope holland win, however this year we are guaranteed first time world cup winners. Both teams have been told they get a blank cheque if they win by their respective royal families.

Spain. The Dutch really haven't been tested yet. Yes they beat Brazil, but Brazil weren't really on top form. Their defence is something to be questioned.

Personally I thought Germany were disappointing.

 

Holland all the way for me.....better technically and I think Spain are overated to be honest for the players they have. Always the underdog for me, so I am going with Holland definitely. Great to see a different team be able to win it either way though.

Being Spanish, I love supporing the "roja". Yesterday was one of the happiest days of my life. I never liked footbal that much, and I don't know why but I feel really good. Even the defender (Puyol) can score, to Germany! a team always proud of high games, the 'bajitos' are back. And whatever happens on Sunday I will feel really good: we beated germans twice!

that's if torres starts the game.

 

to be honest the dutch team isn't anything to right home about. they have two, maybe three top class players, and they have neither the speed nor the passing ability of the spanish.

 

That said, similar to the spanish a dutch defeat in a competitive intl. game over the last 2 or 3 years have been as rare as hens teeth. They went through the qualifiers without losing a game, and bar the match against brazil have been rarely troubled during this tournament.
