Mcshammer_dj Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 I still call him the donkey! Not fair on Donkeys. You don't often see donkeys make a forward run and fall over like a great big lump of...........
sandeep2504 Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 I hope Capello stays Personally I think the foreign players are good for the league and are masking the fact that English players are just not good enough.
Hightower Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Personally I think the foreign players are good for the league and are masking the fact that English players are just not good enough. Next you'll have Celtic and Rangers join the EPL too lol
6Foot2 Posted June 28, 2010 Author Posted June 28, 2010 Currently waiting for the press conference to start. Edit: Just walked on stage. Go to BBC News to see what is happening. Capello may leave?
aerospacemango Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 I don't think Capello should resign...... And I hope he doesn't. Nothing he has said so far makes me think he's leaving!
bossman Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Capello will not publicly say that he is to resign as he will be negotiating his pay off, but all that aside the players have to be held responsible for their inadequacies and the fact that they did not perform at all over the whole of their campaign. John Terry is as has been defined, by his actions a menace and a spoilt brat to boot, how he ever got away with holding a press conference before asking the England manager is beyond me which implies no discipline in the camp to start with and that certain players thought they were above reproach, well i would make them walk back home to England the useless entities they are. If I did my job for one day as badly as they performed in theirs I would be facing a disciplinary. Over paid and useless that's why they will not move to Europe or any other club outside the English leagues as they wouldn't be able to cut the mustard. Anyway did anyone see the England team win yesterday (Cricket that is) they were brilliant and maybe we should change the national game to that of Cricket!!!
CHR1S Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Anyway did anyone see the England team win yesterday (Cricket that is) they were brilliant and maybe we should change the national game to that of Cricket!!! Cricket is the national game isn't it?
creese Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Cricket is the national game isn't it? No. It's post match discussions.

I agree with most of that except the last part!! England WERE brilliant, until they started to throw their wickets away, like so much confetti! To give the Aussies a sniff of a win..........Well, we were lucky! However, a 3-0 series lead/win is good enough for me! Roll on the Winter, and those early morning drives to work, trying to catch 20 min of Ashes cricket on TMS!!!!
