We're moving buildings soon so we just got a load of flat pack boxes delivered.

 

Me and the guys raced each other to be the first to build a box! We had a stop watch and did it to The Final Countdown by Europe!

 

I haven't laughed so much in ages!

We have plastic crates so no such fun for us. xD

 

The gems you find clearing out rooms though! I found an activboard behind a load of old display boards in an office. Must've been there for years. That's now in a classroom being used. ^_^

Heavens help us if and when we get to move into a new building. The main part of the current school was built in 1910 and every nook and cranny is piled high with stuff. We've probably got Lord Lucan living down in the cellars for all we know.

tazz, theres another fun game, espech with the plastic boxes, you bet the smallest person that they cant fit in, this will end up with them trying to get in, perfect photo moment, and if they do fit, just sit on the lid for a few seconds....

We moved out when we had a new carpet put down. I destroyed the opposition in the "who car get themselves up and running on a dodgy laptop" contest.

 

EDIT: Vegas managed to pick out one with a knacked backlight.

if its a cardboard box it might be best to tape it up whilst there in there and maybe push them towards the stairs XD

I remember once finding: A huge amount of videos, all water damaged so me and the NM had a contest to see who could 'punt' one furthest down the corridor, and a sixth form student's coursework from 7 years previous. There was still a teachers name on some of that so I handed it in, apologising for it being a little late.

 

We've also built a two story tower out of laptop boxes, walled a teacher into a room and I've almost run the headmaster over 'trolley surfing' down the corridor.

How about a wind-up gramaphone (1925-31 vintage) complete with Linguaphone record, and a 1940s vintage projection device? All found by builders here a couple of years ago when they took down a wall.
