As rule never eat lunch (I take a lunch but just got into habbit of not eating mainly as lazy can can't be bothered to do sandwiches etc).

However from a metabolism point of view and healthy eating and weight loss that is not a good idea. So need ideas of something healthy but means still eating was thinking of the meal shakes you can get. Has anyone used them

Ideas

Bento-box style lunches instead? Just cook a wodge of rice up once or twice a week, stick it in a tpperware container along with some vegetables and maybe a can of fish or similar?

graze - nature delivered - get the fruit and nibbles box delivered, its healthy, balanced and can help weight loss, plus its delivered without having to do any making of sandwitches!

That looks SO nice - shame I can't really afford it more than about once a week..:(

I'm a lazy luncher as well. I tend to buy whatever is on offer at Tescos, this week it was buy one get one free cucumber so I've been eating mostly ryvita with cucumber. It takes 5mins to make, if that, chop cucumber, butter ryvita, mash two together. Yesterday I was extremely lazy and couldn't be arsed to even chop the cucumber so I spread some marmalade on the ryvita instead, lol.

Other cheap & quick lunches include, those swedish biscuits + tuna/chicken/fish paste, couscous, cup of soup, toast.

Same here.

I'm trying to cut Carbs out my diet at the moment, so it's difficult as hell. Bit of salad for lunch for me...

I do 5days off carbs, weekend free, 5 days on carbs (but still healthly eating), weekend free, 5 days off carbs... rinse and repeat, it hard sometimes but the weight falls off :)

pasta salad with tuna, pesto, peppers and spring onion or something similar is one of my staples, also couscous with lots of roasted veg and cumin/chilli/coriander. Both of those you can make one night and have 3 or 4 days worth of lunch (if you dont get bored)

Failing that just a salad with some chicken or something. I'm trying to think of a good way to bring noodles in (proper ones, not supernoodles)

Plenty of carbs in all that but healthy too, ive got no problem with carbs as long as they're in moderation. I get too hungry otherwise!

Pleh!! They are as horrid as they sound. One of the boarding house kitchens makes soup and sandwiches available in the staff room. Different flavour every day. Now where is the [smug] emoticon?

It's a nice idea isn't it there are loads of people I know getting the boxes. When your signed up you can actually send boxes to people with little messages inside, I sent one to my other half the day after she had a very stressfull day at work!

There's an alterior motive behind it....he will then get £1 off a box!

True, but you get a free box and a half price box out of it too! So both parties win :-)

I wouldn't mind giving them a try so if you want to share your code I'm happy to - as you say - everyone wins!

Sounds a very interesting mix, shame we have sooooo many biscuits in our food drawer, yes I have a drawer in the filing cabinet for Biscuits and Chocolates (guess which department is well liked! - I predict this will change come September and Windows 7, Office 2010, new USB Sticks that MUST be used ...... (the list goes on!))
