OMG - I am just sitting through this tripe... it makes Lost look classy

 

I have counted 4 c words, 1 naked girl and the worst CGI I have seen since plan 9.

The fact that it was on Bravo led me to avoid this like the plague. It didn't help that I watched 300 on Bravo last week and it was advertised extremely frequently throughout.

Not watched it yet, but I think I will. Read Charlie Brookers article on it, and he says it actually gets good at about episode 4-5, and Charlie Brooker is GOD. Extreme violence, nudity, and copious amounts of swearing - whats not to like??

I have watched up to about episode 7 and it is good! allthough quite rude and graphic!! Very sad though that the guy who plays Sparticus has leukemia though!

I watched it, didnt like it. I usually like this sort of thing (I love films like gladiator, troy - which yes has alot of cardboard acting from everyone!, 300, spartacus etc) but this made me think why oh why?

 

storyline is ok, but the acting is shocking, CGI, well my 1 year old daughter could have done better....

I saw the first ep a while back, but haven't been motivated to watch any more (despite the promise of a nekkid Lucy Lawless). Are Bravo showing this uncut?

funny. I'm pretty fussy about tv shows and I thought it was really good.

From the clips it does look utter garbage. I just dont see the point of it, what do you learn from watching it? I dont find extreme gore or peoples limbs being cut off particularly enjoyable (though obviously no complaints about the naked women )

As I started this thread I thought I would update it, watched every episode so far

 

Can't recognise Lucy though...its still rubbish though but I will keep watching it.

it's raw and realistic and brutal. I'm pretty sure being a gladiator in that era was no walk in the park.
