Reinheitsgebot: German Beer Purity Law I have a friend who used to run a pub there, he wanted to put green food dye in the beer on St Patrick's Day. He was told he would be arrested and lose his licence. sssssh. Keep it quiet about the great beer they sell. Wouldn't want the snobs finding a reason to have to shop with us chavs would we? By the way, the wireless hub comes with a 3 year warranty.

Crowmanuk Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 All the electrical stuff comes with a 3 year warranty as standard, I picked up the speakers last night for the lads room, they sound really good, we've got some 2.1 sets at the school and in comparison the phillips and logitech ones arent a patch on these. SpuffMonkey Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 We do our 'tin and pasta' shop at Aldi, and all fresh stuff at Booths (a rather nice supermarket chain based in teh NW). We spend £40 buying what would have cost us £70+ elsewhere, and TBH, their beans, and other tinned goods are perfectly fine. Who needs a choice of 8 types of baked bean? Ditto - but Waitrose not Booths - you lucky chap - its like one of those old IQ questions Booths is to Waitrose as Waitrose is to Morrisons I did read that they'd changed the bean recipe recently (in Which where the old recipe was positively reviewed) - anyone tried he new one?

john Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 I've had a few things from Aldi that have been fine, but its a bit of a trek to one for us, Morrisons, Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys are our nearest big supermarkets, so the weekly family shop goes to Morrisons usually with the rest coming from Booths as we have one in the town I work in so its only 10 minutes from where I live or across the river from work
Dos_Box Posted March 26, 2010 Author Posted March 26, 2010 I got the 35mm film scanner and it'spretty damned good. Just a shame there is no direct scanning into Windows, but the scanning to SD card is mighty fast and the image quality first rate.
