Ive had about 10/15 kills now and 1 plat drop, even with 5 stars and starred collectors catalogs its terrible! 40k CP is worth the 1 min 40 second fight when death spam works tho The TP farming after is annoying downtime but its another 10k+ CP for a couple of minutes fight.

 

Bit unlucky there. Went 6/11 on Plats lastnight, and 1/11 on Trap I love grinding (sometimes)

I did realise after about 5 that I had my catalogs on the wrong chars after I switched to Vaniell for death lol!

Grrr, still no traps and I have done 20+ kills now. Got my growth egg, which is sweet

There is another way.

 

Do the missions and get your Genjii gloves, upgrade two of them fully and dismantle.

 

(Actually not sure if you get a Trap or Dark Matter) than upgrade Fangs Taming pole, use one of the Traps, than dismantle it for three more, should have 4 now

Also, can you only level the extra roles at cl9 to role level2?

Not sure, never touched the other roles, just stuck with the default. I blitzed the game in 34hours, and am now playing again with the aim to get all the trophies as I missed alot of items first time round.

Had some good luck! Got Genji Gauntlet, 3 ultimate weapons at level 99 and some other cool accessories. Finished the Titans Trials while still in Ch11 and maxed all my chars roles at level 9.

I think its time to finish the story now and come back to the other missions later

30 hours?? How far in are you, good to see its another lengthy slog

 

Its beautiful to look at and the story so far is great, but I think you either love or hate FF, personally I love them.

 

Just wish you could get 7 and 8 for xbox... is there a PC version about?

 

I played 7 on my original PlayStation - worse thing I did during my final year in University. I racked up a good 40 hours before realising my final exams were very close.

 

I'm considering XIII for the PS3 this week - maybe once all the coursework marking is out of the way.

What a crap end!! The last bosses were far to easy and the end story was a BIG let down!
