I can recommend the elderflower press as a subsitute, although it's fizzy rather than a cordial/juice. :D :)

The Aldi High Juice is quite nice.

I'm a Jack Daniels man so where is the cheapest place to buy it from?

Asda and Sainsburys do Bourbon Whiskey. Tastes just the same after the 2nd glass. Around £11 for 70cl

I like the new Grouse Black, as a cheap every day Peaty whisky.

Tesco et al sell it for £16, but I was in the Whisky shop in Gretna Green on Sunday and they were selling it (obviously to tourists) for £23!

Yeah, have 3/4 of a bottle of that on the shelf. It's ok... bit rough around the edges :) but drinkable with a dash of water.

Sainsbury's malt is worth trying. Consider that there are 4 distilleries on Islay, and Sains sell an Islay malt considerably cheaper than the "branded" bottles. It MUST come from one of the 4 well known distilleries!

The Speyside is a lovely soft drink. :drunken_smilie:

I don't generally drink just one thing. I am a man of many tastes and I flitter between JD, Guiness, Tetleys, Stella etc...

I also once bought some Smirnoff Apple flavoured vodka and I was quite surprised at how nice it was seeing as I don't drink a lot of vodka, just mix it with lemonade or with fizzy apple.

I mostly do my alcohol shopping in Tesco or Morrisons.
