Hi,

Anybody have any pictures / info / suppliers of curving worktops for ICT suites please? After the kind of thing that curves in for each workstation. The head fancies a suite thats more internet cafe than boring IT suite!

Many thanks,

Interesting, the link doesnt work but a google search brings up the same url? Is it all right your end? Could be the worlds most picky filtering system that I am behind, amazed I can access this place!

ye its designed so the students can all see the teacher... well that's what the designer said... however what about the students completely facing the wrong way....

also the colour in my opinion is awful but the students seem to like the room.

I did wonder about two-thirds of the class having their backs to the board

Can be a big issue. We have one room with curved desks and overall it just doesnt work. One or two teachers have got used to it and constantly walk around the room, and get the kids to bring their chairs to the front when using the IWB. But for teachers who are used to standing/sitting in one place its a joke as you can never see all teh kids screens at once - or not even half...

was incredibly pricey. 48k without computers

Hi,

Not sure if you refer to the cost of the above room or not but if you are, the PC's were also supplied for this class and the cost of the room was a lot less than £48k.

Please let me know if you ever need an accrate quote subject to a 3D room plan being done for you.

Regards,

Steve
