craigg Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 We are planning to introduce windows 7 into our network soon and I was wonderig if anyone had any tips/considerations? I from what I have read there may be some issues regardig profiles when running xp along side 7? Any info would be good. Thanks in advance guys

3s-gtech Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Profiles are pretty easy, depending on the type used. Super mandatory profiles have a specific fix. Otherwise, go for redirection and well locked down PCs instead. Lots of testing is key. You may find some old scripts don't work. Printers are fun - your print server will need to host 64 and 32 bit drivers if you want mixed architecture. WMI filters make GP management simple though.
