We need to get three quotes for a managed print service. We've had a couple but I'm keen to see we get best value and that includes good service which you can only mneasure from others recommendations. Does anyone out there have their printers and copiers managed under the same contract? Do you get good service? Who do you use?

Thanks

We deal with Canon (Direct), Rico (through a company called "The Digital Office") we have no issues with either company. Not really an endorsement, just who we use.

I deal with United Carlton cannot fault it. All Sharp machines with PCounter from Altman technologies.

We are just installing a Danwood setup (I had no control over this one) so will be interesting to see the differences.

We're with Fovia/Arena (two halves of the same company now) who work very well for us, good value and great service. Although their office is 2 minutes walk round the corner for us, so may have something to do with it!

We're stuck with Danwood unfortunatly... Their service is terrible. Sometimes when I go to order toners / a fuser kit etc they don't have them in stock, then we have to wait about a week until we get one delivered (i would order when they get down to about 20% but it the last fuser kit failed at about 40% and we didn't have one spare). Another time a engineer arrived to fix a printer, so I went and said that we have another printer not working at the same time, well he told me that he couldn't look at it until I had rung the office and arranged it!!!

Dont use them.

We use a Kyoceria / Equitrac system and a local reseller.

Brilliant system, emails reseller when toners hit 5% and they are delivered next day, and then emails support desk at 0% for us to replace toner.

Any problems, engineer out in 4 hours max.

We have a spare printer or two just incase, and a few toners incase of bad weather hitting delivers of new ones, other wise spot on !

If your in the North East let me know and I can sort a demo out
