neon Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Have people had problems with google earth recently? I have had a few teachers complaining saying it isnt working, it seems that the computers are unable to log into the server although all of the required servers have been added to the exceptions list... If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thank you.
neon Posted January 12, 2010 Author Posted January 12, 2010 all versions, had an older version which I updated because it was blurry and not connecting to googles server... however after doing so same problem, have included all the servers in exceptions and pass all the tests for connection on google earth troubleshoot....
stevenwba Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 We had this before, but after updating the latest version the issue was resolved. Doesnt google earth force you to update to latest version before allowing access to its servers?
stevenlong1985 Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 same here this happened months before 6 weeks holiday, still cant get it working
paulst30 Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Google earth wont run until its running the new version (as has been said already) however our problem was that ISA wasn't allowing the connection to the update server to allow earth to be updated so we had to download the stand alone installer in the meantime until we could create an ISA rule to allow the connection. Its the same as iTunes too for us.
mrbios Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Sorry to bump a very old thread but this issue has just reared it's ugly head paulst30 - Did you ever create that ISA rule? if so could you let me know the settings required?
