powdarrmonkey Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Scrooges! BBC News - Hit and run driver targets Frosty the snowman 4
EvLPhenom Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 hahaha... thats given me a great laugh this morning thanks...
SteveT Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 ........ would have been interesting if it had been built round a bollard!!!:evil_twisted: 4
GrumbleDook Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 As a kid we used to build them round bollards until we got told off by the police, just in case someone drove into the snowman thinking there was nothing there. So we just put big stones in it instead. Copper was happy with that as the car would get damaged but driver and passengers were safe. Then again, this was in the days when the copper would join in the snowball fight ... as would some of the local nuns. Amazing how they *always* managed to hit you.
stevenwba Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 awesome! made me smile on a rather cold and depressing day! thanks for sharing
AyatollahPies Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 A colleague of mine drove through a Snowman last year for a laugh. The snowman had the last laugh though as he had to replace his front bumper.
tech_guy Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Lol, it's great to see that there are still some miserable old bu@@ers out there!
fafster Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 I remember when I was in Primary school after a good snow and we'd all built snowmen on the yard. The lunchtime bell went off, and we all ran out for food. On the way I thought it would be funny to push one of the snowmen over as I ran past. The girl who made the snowman apparently saw it lying on the ground and became so upset that an assembly was called. Nobody else saw me push it, and so I kept my mouth shut. You lot are the first to hear my admittance of guilt to the great snowman murder of 1991. 1
apoth0r Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Thank you for coming clean fafster, your school has been notified and you can expect 'a good telling off' when you get home

tech_guy Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 As kids we once built a snowman over the local red letter box, using the slot as a mouth. An old biddy came out to shout at us and threatened to call the police. The next day we built a huge snowman just outside her front gate and legged it. 1
