mdking Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 (edited) A full time position has become available at The Hundred of Hoo School Position : Lead ICT Technician Grade: C1 - £16,850 - £22,221 37 hours a week - 52 week contract Hours - Monday - Thursday 8am till 4pm Friday 8am till 3.30pm A Lead ICT Technician will assist in the delivery of ICT support for hardware and software used across the school. A detailed knowledge of the school’s systems and infrastructure is required enabling the ability to diagnose complex integrated service issues. The Lead ICT Technician will also provide specialist knowledge and guidance on technical aspects of systems and services, and act as a local expert and reference point. gibbo_ap Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 i do find it depressing the pay for our jobs, when words like expert, complex, detailed knowledge etc then the pay is £16k which as its only 4 days. when you look at it in pay in NET then would this not work out about 12,500 - 13000 a year ish? for an expert seems low.....ah well 2days til my depressing pay slip lol

I will agree with everyone about low pay though lol, when most schools will pay a cleaner £6.50/7 an hour, my hourly rate works out at that
