Stuart_C Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 OK, so not quite "educational" but I'm looking for some software that I can use to scan pupil laptop hard disks and flash memory sticks looking for stuff they've deleted. Partly to help them when they are stupid, partly to catch them if they are being naughty. I don't mind paying but sub £50. Any suggestions?
gavins38 Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 I've found EASEUS Deleted File Recovery works really well and there's a free version of it if you don't mind just the basic features.

Midnight Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 3rd RECUVA. It comes free on Ultimate Boot CD 4 Windows, an excellent bootable utility CD at UBCD for Windows 1
Stuart_C Posted November 19, 2009 Author Posted November 19, 2009 Yep Recuva seems to work very well. Thank-you guys.
Guest monkeyx Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 When all else has failed me. The photorec and tesdisk tools have saved the day for me Tim
